WAR Squirrel Friction Folder

Hier einmal ein besonderes Projekt, welches von der ersten Idee bis ich es jetzt endlich in der Hand habe, ein halbes Jahr gedauert hat.

Das Messer ist von einem äusserst talentierten, polnischen Hobby Messermacher. Ich bin im Frühling im Internet auf einige seiner Arbeiten gestossen und war sofort begeistert von seiner Squirrel Folder Reihe. Squirrel steht für Einhörnchen und ist in Anlehnung an die Formgebung der Messer gemeint. Da er vornehmlich Einzelstücke herstellt, war leider nichts verfügbar, aber wir begannen zu diskutieren wie ein optimales Klappmesser für die Küche auszusehen hat und nach einigen Mails hin und her, ist nun diese unglaublich coole WAR Squirrel Folder entstanden. Die Gestaltung folgt den taktischen Messern und es ist für kleine Küchen- oder Schneidarbeiten absolut grossartig. Durch die massive Klingendicke ist es natürlich auch für schwerer Einsätze sehr gut geeignet. Die Handlage ist äusserst bequem und der hintere Teil der Klinge ist wie ein Schraubenzieher ausgebildet, was für Alltagszwecke sehr praktisch ist.

Ich habe natürlich eine zum Thema passenden Titan Bead gemacht. Dazu wurden die markanten Designelement wie die geschmiedete Struktur sowie die Rundkerben übernommen, welche noch grau-grün hitzegefärbt wurden.

TFDE N Neck Knife Bead

Now it was yet time for a Special Knive of the European Tactial Forum, to finally create a design proper bead. The bead is made of titanium grade 2, d = 12mm, l = 25mm, so its a huge Bead. For the design of the distinctive highlights of the knife were taken. So I milled with the appropriate phase highlight a groove to show the skeleton Design This means that you can see for once the paracord inside the beads. In addition, three circular notches mounted analog of the knife back and sanded two sides parallel plan. The surfaces are polished on the flat surfaces and subjected to the radial faces are soft stonewashed, the notches are cuttraw and mirror finish.Due to the large knot on the lanyard and the handle position is improved a lot.
